We’re improving the water network in your area
We’re always working to reduce the number of leaks and bursts we have across our network and ensure we continue to supply top quality drinking water. In recent years, there have been 15 interruptions to supply affecting properties in the Bramshill and Eversley areas with low pressure, or no water. With this in mind, we’re going to be making some improvements to the water network in your area.
What’s going to happen and when?
We’re going to install around 4,230 metres of water pipes in and around the Bramshill and Eversley areas. The planning for this project is underway and we’re currently aiming to start work on Monday, 4 January 2027. Our teams will work weekdays and some Saturday mornings.

We still need to finalise the programme, but expect the project to take approximately 12 months in total. We’ll do our best to get the work done faster if we can.

We’ll be working in two phases for the project:

Phase one: Bramshill Road area

Work is due to start along Bramshill Road from Monday, 4 January 2027, under a phased road closure, with work also set to take place along Reading Drive South, Bramshill Rd and Plough Lane in the early stages of the project, between January and March.

A diversion route will be in place during the course of this work, which will be published on our website.

Work will then continue along Bramshill Road towards the A327, with this phase expected to continue until late July 2027.

Phase two: A327 Brickhouse Hill

We’re planning to start work on the A327 Brickhouse Hill in Eversley in late July, with temporary traffic lights in place initially, before a rolling road closure and diversion route is implemented in mid-August, as agreed with Hampshire County Council.

This is scheduled to be in place for around four months, until early December. During this time, we’ll be using real-time traffic information and digital tools to keep satellite navigation systems and mapping systems up-to-date to help minimise disruption to the highway network.

How will this affect residents and businesses?
We’re sorry for the disruption this work is going to cause; we know it’s inconvenient. We’ll do our absolute best to keep it to a minimum.Accessing properties and businesses

We’ll maintain access to homes and businesses during this work. There may be a wait occasionally if we’re working directly outside the entrance to a property just while our team makes the area safe to cross, or complete an element of work such as a concrete pour.

Water supply

There may be a short interruption to supply when we connect our new pipes to the existing network. We’ll let those impacted know at least 48 hours beforehand.
